Before the Manek Urai by-election, Bernard Khoo (Zorro-Unmasked) asked me to design a logo for baseball caps (which he wore during the campaign), using the Manchester United logo but with a twist. Instead of Manchester United, we changed it to Manek Urai and add in the logos of the Pakatan Rakyat coalition parties. And this is what it looks like (below)

And then a couple of weeks ago, there was this brouhaha calling Muslim not to wear the MU jersey as the logo has the “red devil” in it. So again Bernard requested that I do another design and this time changed back the words Manchester United but retained the Pakatan Rakyat parties’ logos, so that the MU Muslim fans can wear without being caught up in the controversy. So this is what it looks like.

And yesterday, Bernard emailed me and said that it will be a great idea for GE13 if we change from Manchester United to Malaysians United! I told him that I have actually thought about the design but could not find the opportunity to use it, (I mean changing form Manchester United tO Malaysians United.) So now I have a reason and will make a series out of it for the GE13. Thanks Zorro and this one is for you.
