KTK! KPI! What The Heck!

Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak has defended the appointment of Gerakan president Koh Tsu Koon as a minister in the PM’s Department overseeing the government’s Key Performance Index (KPI).

Speaking at officiation of the Gerakan national delegates conference in Kuala Lumpur this morning, Najib said he appointed Koh as a minister because he valued the role played by Gerakan.

“I want Gerakan members to have a voice in the government (and) I appointed Koh because he is party to the recovery process for Gerakan,” he said.

“Don’t question this. This is my right as the PM,” he added, to the roar of applause from the floor. (here)

Great! What exactly is he doing as a “KPI” minister? What results has he shown? For God sake, do we know whatever that “KPI” is?

As far as I know, he was kicked out of Penang. And he said he will not go through the backdoor to be a minister. What is he now? A minister appointed by Najib, NOT BY THE PEOPLE!

One thing I know he does well. Standing behind Najib wherever he goes, nodding his head in agreement whatever Najib says! Making sure his picture is taken behind Najib in the news with that famous smile of him. That’s all he can do!

There are so many unsettled issues he left behind in Penang but now prefers to be in Putrajaya. I guess his ambition is to be a minister, whatever minister. So Najib has to create one for him - “KPI” Minister - whatever it is. I can understand Finance , Trade, Defense, Youth, Tourism, Education, Home, etc, etc, but what does the “KPI” Ministry do? Waste of tax-payers’ money, that’s what it does!

  1. For once those two BN rottweillers were barking sense! Either they just woke up or a deliberate act by their handlers to let these two rottweillers off to do their dirty job, no? I see it as an attempt to silence OngTK and KohTK to protect the bunch of corrupt in the PKFZ scandal.

Anyway on Koh Tsu-Koon, it’s aptly said, how can a politician also former Chief Minister Penang who lost the whole state after being rejected by Penangites be appointed via the back-door to helm KPI Ministry when he himself has no credit to it?

To be told off and ask to resign in Parliament is so ‘malu-fying’! If I were Koh Tsu-Koon, I would have letak jawatan immediately. Shame shame! Shame Gerakan!

  2. tis guy has no shame n the guy who appointed him has no brains!! the public has declared ktk useless n here we have our pm embracing his \’efforts\’?….cant find a better candidate?

  3. Congrats on a poster well done. I am glad the state govt has deemed fit to put up a sturdier replacement.

KTK has been richly rewarded with a full Ministerial post. He certainly earned it with his grovelling and pandling to the UMNO honchos. It must take a thick hide to be able to swallow the scorn from within his own Barisan people and have your photo torn by them too. Pathetic

  4. This post is just a carrot for a good lapdog..for superficial purposes. Najis is wasting taxpayers’ money by creating this ‘meaningless’ post.
