Yesterday when I went for my walk the billboard was there!

Today I went for my walk, and the billboard was gone!

What could have happened? Who, why and how did they removed it?

When I saw that the banner was removed, I sent a sms the CM office to find out what happened? To their surprise they didn’t know about it too!

I can’t confirm what happened but I understand it’s under investigation.

So who could have done it? You guess is as good as mine!

  1. Thanks for the info and pics..i thought of writing an entry about the good move by the penang state govt..but unfortunately it has gone…

  2. Must be the work of an Isa Samad groupie. Guess they are taking this “Tak Nak ISA” message rather too personally! (Please delete earlier comment, it was truncated)

  3. They did that to the Najib’s billboard poster as well.

  4. I’m sure the CM office will put up the billboard again.

  5. Let\’s hope the police will get down to serious investigation and nab the culprits with the help of cctv from across Penang State Assembly property(if still operationable)?

  6. CAN\’T STOP WHAT MAJORITY WANT

Now you see it, now you don\’t

  7. The thing looks too fragile against vandalism, Daniel. They gotta take that into consideration or it’ll be a waste!

  8. Those who eat the chillie, will feel the hot…insecure BN take note here. In the minds of the rakyat, we certainly do know who those devils are, don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\’t we??

  9. Hi Salak,

I did suggest to the CM office in regards to getting a good location and also to put it way up high. The problem is even the State Govt have difficulty getting one of those existing billboard as they were all contracted out. Originally, they decided to put up the billboard at the roundabout at Gurney Drive, but then the CM decided not to as he doesn’t want to damage the landscape there.

Yes, I do hope that the will consider a better structure and location. And by the way, there were supposed to be spotlights. If there are spotlights, then maybe it will not be that easy to vandalize it.
