Malaysia’s 1st Anti-ISA Billboard In Penang!
It’s finally here. Yes, the 1st Malaysia’s Anti-ISA Billboard now in Penang. It’s located right opposite the Penang State Assembly, near the Esplanade.
(Setting up and erecting the billboards)
The Anti-ISA Billboard was first proposed to the Chief Minister of Penang, YAB Lim Guan Eng by Bernard Khoo @ Zorro-Unmasked during a press conference in Permatang Pasir.
Bernard Khoo then e-mailed to me and asked me to create some artwork as a proposal. I came up with about 30 different designs and it was submitted to the CM office. After about a month, the CM finally decided on 2 designs. He then. through his secretary, asked me to combine those 2 designs and make into one. And I have to get it done in 2 days as the state wants to get the billboard up on Saturday (10th Oct). And that’s the final result!
(It’s a privilege for me to be the first person to pose under the billboard)
It’s an honour for me to design the 1st Malaysia’s Ant-ISA Billboard, and I hope other Pakatan Rakyat states will also consider putting up this Anti-ISA billboard in their respective states.
(The billboard is directly opposite the Penang State Assembly)
(And the PenangĀ Jubilee Clock Tower on the left)
(View from the Penang State Assembly, with Fort Cornwallis in the background)
The billboard is about 7′x16′. Yes, it might be a small, but a big step for Penangites and all Malaysians. Maybe this should get us into the Malaysian Guinness Book of Records - The 1st Malaysia Anti-ISA Billboard!
Syabas Penang!
Syabas YAB Lim Guan Eng!

Danny, great stuff. I hope (as proposed) these be visible to visitors coming into Penang. Lets the other PR states follow.
