Section 23 residents action committee chairperson Mahyuddin Manaf believes that the cow’s head was brought to yesterday’s controversial to ‘provoke them’.

However, the self-proclaimed PAS member declined to elaborate, saying he did not want the issue to be blown out of proportion.

He also stressed that the protest was not intended to stoke racial tension but rather to ’solve any such grievances’.

As for the cow’s head, Mahyuddin said its appearance at the protest remains a mystery.

“We did a post mortem (on the protest) and we could not detect the people who brought it,” he told Malaysiakini

What is he mumbling about? He doesn’t know where the bloody cow’s head comes from and who brought it there. Ya sure, but you sure didn’t bother to stop them from carrying it and leading in the march. And sure, you didn’t even bother to stop them from spitting and stepping and kicking on it.

If you have seen the video of the protest, you will see that he is among one of them who put his feet on the cow’s head. And they all seem so proud doing that. Now he is telling us that it was a mystery how the cow’s head appeared there and believes it was to “provoke” them!

Now he is scared and trying to give some stupid excuses knowing that the authority will be coming for him and the rest of the protesters. And now he says, he is even unsure if all the protesters are from section 23.

Look at the video and tell me what he said tally with his or their actions yesterday.

UMNO: If It Did Not Foresee Its Chances…

Posted in AROUND THE BLOG, CITIZEN'S COLUMN, LIFE, MALAYSIA, NEWS on August 25th, 2009

When asked to rate BN candidate Rohaizat Othman’s chances of winning, he said he was optimistic but declined to comment whether the coalition could wrest the seat from PAS.

“It’s difficult to predict.

“We will know in a few hours time . . . need not rush.

Chances of winning are good

“But I see our chances are good,” he said, adding that Umno would not have entered into the contest if it did not foresee its chances.

From the statement above, does it mean that Umno pulled out from the Penanti by-election because they did not foresee its chances? Does the statement above implied that they knew that they will not stand a chance at Penanti, that’s why they did not contest - not because it’s a waste of time and tax-payers’ money as their reason for not contesting?

Yes, UMNO will only contest in seats if “it only foresees its chances!” Not because it’s a waste of time or money!

The Letter

Posted in AROUND THE BLOG, CITIZEN'S COLUMN, LIFE, MALAYSIA, MUSIC, NEWS, SMILE, VIDEO on August 20th, 2009

This was one of my favourite song in my “hippy” days. Used to sing this song with my band and even won a talentine show singing this song. But today there is s new twist to the song. Yes, 2009 version of The Letter.

2009 Version of THE LETTER

Gimme a ticket for an aeroplane,
Ain’t got time to take a fast train.
Happy days are gone, I’m leaving home,
‘Cause somebody just a-wrote in a letter.

I don’t care how much money I gotta spend,
Got to get out of this country
Happy days are gone, I’m leaving home,
‘Cause somebody just a-wrote in a letter.

* Well, he wrote in the letter
Said he knew of corruption and conspiracy
Finger prints are wiped, DNA exchanged
To close proximity, habislah!

Gimme a ticket for an aeroplane,
Ain’t got time to take a fast train.
Happy days are gone, I’m leaving home,
‘Cause somebody just a-wrote in a letter.
