Barcelona won the Champions League Cup 2009

What can I say! Manchester United lost to a better team. No excuse. In fact I think MU played quite badly. They were struggling to keep up with Barcelona. There was never really any threat from MU, apart from one 32m free kick from Christiano Ronaldo.

The best team wins! And Barcelona is definitely a better team.

And to Manchester United - there is 2010.

And the latest - fasting!

A peaceful, non-violent protest! What threat or violent can these people do? They are only going to abstain from food, which means they will go weaker as days go by. Not that by fasting they will be emitting poison gas that can kill thousands!

In fact all the above mentioned are peaceful, non-violent act!

And the authority called it “illegal assembly!”

What is illegal assembly?

And what is legal assembly?

Come thursday morning at 2.45am, there are going to be many “illegal assemblies” And I’ll be definitely in one of them.

Yes, Malaysians all over the country will be gathering in their favourite hangouts to watch the Champions League Final between Manchester United  and Barcelona.

And many will be wearing their favourite team colours.  There will be plenty of shouting and cheering.  And it’s not just a 15 minutes or 30 minutes gathering, it will be a 2-hour gathering. Or more if there is an extra time!

Is that “illegal or legal gathering? After all we are doing the same thing as those who were arrested recently. Almost.

Gathering in groups of more than 5!  Is it illegal to gather in a group of more than 5 watching the Champiuons League Final?

Wearing our team T-shirts! Is that ok?

Shouting and cheering! And we can do that?

Supporting our team! Is that wrong?

Amd mind you, there will be many police officers in among the groups!

So watch out, MU and Barca’s fans!
