First, when we had the candlelight vigils they deemed it as illegal gathering. Then when the Jerit group rode to the Parliament, it was illegal cycling. And when our Hindu brothers and sisters prayed for the release of the Hindraf group, they were told they could face arrest - illegal praying!

Now this one beats them all! It’s illegal to have a pot-luck party!  My friend Yaukhean@Kensan was  right! No more pot-luck. Time to close shop! You cannot “makan-makan” in a group now! It’s called illegal eating lah!

What’s next?

Anyway, I think all this is just a big misunderstanding. Knowing the intelligent of of the police intelligence unit, when they heard that there is going to be a “Pot-luck party,” the first thing that came to their mind is that there is going to be a big “Pot” party! (Just in case some of you might not get it, “Pot” is another word for ganja, grass, weed, marijuana, cannabis, etc, etc. )

They thought “man, this is going to be a big bust!” But then they were disappointed when they saw these people bring food, not “pot.” So they were upset and started being nasty to the people for making a fool out of them. And to justify their presence, they have to do something. So they chased all the innocent people away,  who were just there for a “pot-luck” party!
