A close relative of Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan echoed police sentiments today, rubbishing claims that his nephew had not been sodomised (Malaysiakini) 

I know what you are going to say, “AIYO! THIS IS OUTDATED NEWS LAH!” Sorry, but my mind has been bugging me to put my thoughts into words.

I can’t help but kept thinking about what Uncle Pet said, when the Hospital Pusrawi doctor’s report was leaked. He kept insisting that he believed Saiful was sodomized. He said he has faith in Saiful. This really bothers me. All he knew about the alleged sodomy was from Saiful and what he said. Now as an uncle, he should be happy when he heard that the hospital reports said that there was no indication of sodomy.

He should jump for joy that his nephew was not sodomized. He should be looking at the brighter side, that his nephew can have his dignity back again. But then he chose to believe otherwise, that Saiful has been sodomized. He sounded like he wants Saiful to be sodomized. That he is so proud that he has been sodomized. And he even claimed that Anwar did it. (read below) Who in the right mind would want to believe that? What an uncle he is!

He made is sound like he is so proud to proclaim to the world that, “Yes, I believe my nephew has be sodomized! I believe in him! I have faith in him!” Uncle Pet, (or whatever your name is) don’t you want to believe that your nephew was never sodomized? Why did you choose to believe that your nephew was sodomized instead of believing in the medical report? Don’t you want to give it a benefit of doubts?

While he conceded that Saiful had initially gone to Pusrawi before heading to Hospital Kuala Lumpur, he dismissed the initial findings, saying that Pusrawi “did not have a forensic department” of its own.“Before HKL, he went to Pusrawi lah,” said Pat. “But Pusrawi cannot do the forensics. Anyway those were just notes (referring to the medical report) and not a report.“Then, he (the doctor) suggested that we go to HKL for a proper report,” he added.“The Pusrawi doctor (Dr Mohamed Osman Abdul Hamid) only did a short check-up, so how could he decide it was not sodomy?”Pet was equally unconvinced with the way the Pusrawi report concluded that his nephew had not been sodomised.“That is just bull****. They just want to exaggerate the story and divert attention. The important thing is Anwar (Ibrahim) is doing that thing and it’s happened.“We invited him (Anwar) to swear on the Quran and he twisted things around. We as Muslims should be brave because it’s the truth and be afraid if we are guilty,” said Pet.
