Deja Vu

Anwar Ibrahim

Desperate times, need desperate measures! Arrest Anwar? They must be really, really desperate. Why? Time is running out for them and they know it. So they have to act quick. I mean, consider the reason for the arrest. It’s all based on one police report and the word of the so called victim. Have they recorded Anwar’s statement? Have they listened to Anwar’s story? It’s a one-sided story and Anwar was arrested for it.

What about all the other allegations that was reported recently? Like the Statutory Declaration by RPK on Rosmah? The Statutory Declaration on Najib? The police report by Anwar against the IGP and AG? What actions has been taken? You mean to tell me that there were no truth in it at all? But the police report on Anwar is true?  That’s why the arrest?

”I doubt Anwar will be released tonight as this is a very serious allegation and there are a lot of things to be investigated and the police must carry this out fully,” he said. (Syed Hamid)

Syed Hamid dismissed Anwar’s claims that the accusations levelled by a former aide were a government conspiracy, and discounted the prospect of mass demonstrations if the opposition leader is charged with sodomy.

“There is no conspiracy as Anwar likes to point out. Every time he is detained he claims it’s a conspiracy, this is mind conditioning and we will make sure that no one is above the law.”

Syed Hamid said that it is a a serious allegation, that’s why the police needs to do more investigations. I agree. But how about the allegations against Rosmah, Najib, IGP and AG? Isn’t that more serious? An innocent lady murdered and Anwar was bodily harmed. So get down to those allegations too. Get the police to arrest them!

And he said, there were no government conspiracy. That’s what he said - and we don’t have to believe it either.  Like we would believe that! But when it comes to allegation against Najib it’s a political conspiracy to tarnish his image.

And no one is above the law? Then get Rosmah, Najib, IPG and AG.  Oh right, they are innocent. Or maybe they are above the law! All the allegations against them are lies and fabricated and politically motivated. Only the allegation against Anwar is serious and true! So arrest Anwar! And let the rest free! Welcome to Malaysia!  Again Malaysia Boleh!

How true as you indicated above. Desperate times, need desperate measures. It can’t be any way wrong with such statement. Well, the smart one said that it is serious allegation, that’s why the police needs to do more investigations. What a pathetic minister and there is no govt conspiracy, he said, then tell me why Anwar is presumed guilty before proven ?

Why the need for such high handedness ? And some still preach that in Malaysia, we have freedom of speech, nah ! You have the freedom to the speech but after the speech, you have no more freedom ! That’s more like it and still have the cheek to say that no one is above the law and yet they questioned those whistle blowers instead of the culprits.

What about all those SDs against the people in power ? All heresay and rumours you mean ? Any investigation done to date ? Don’t just preach to us one thing and you conduct yourself in another. Like the saying, do as I tell you and not do as I do. I won’t be surprised what’s the next step the govt will take. I think the days of this govt being legitimate in ruling is numbered as the people cannot be that easily cowed into listening to such lies anymore.

This what the infamous SELECTIVE PROSECUTION means!!!!!!! They select who to take action on. Just wonder what criteria they base their so called investigations on?
