 X-Files Malaysia

There is no evidence that Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan was sodomised, according to the doctor who examined him four hours before he lodged a police report alleging he was sexually assaulted by PKR

leader Anwar Ibrahim.

It is believed that Anwar’s former aide Saiful (left) went to two different hospitals on June 28 - the day he lodged the police report claiming that he was sodomised by his ex-boss.

He first went to Hospital Pusrawi (Pusat Rawatan Islam) in Jalan Tun Razak - a government-linked Islamic medical institution - at about 2pm.

According to a copy of the two-page medical report obtained by malaysiakini yesterday, Saiful went to the hospital complaining of ‘tenesmus’ - a medical term for difficulty and pain in passing motion.

He was examined by Dr Mohamed Osman Abdul Hamid, the medical officer on duty.

The doctor said that the patient had alleged he was assaulted by the intrusion of a piece of “plastic” in the anus.

Mohamed Osman, according to his medical report which was recorded at 2.14pm, found “zero active bleeding”, “zero ulcer or pus”, “zero tear and scar” in Saiful’s anus.

He also stated that Saiful appeared “alert”, “comfortable”, “not pale” and did not show any fever symptoms.

My friend and I checked up the Hospital Pusrawi’s website. Know what? We could not find the name of the Dr Mohamed Osman Abdul Hamid there. Malaysiakini reports that a check with the hospital reviewed that he was on leave. And now he and his whole family could not be located. It was also believed that he has gone into hiding. Things are getting very spooky lately. No one knows where Saiful is except the police and maybe his lawyer. Then Balasubramaniam, the PI and his whole family took off the next day after making the second SD. They are believed to be in a neighbouring country. And now no one knows where Dr Mohamad Osman and the family are.

We need to call in X-Files special agents Fox Mulder and Dan Scully. People are disappearing. It’s getting more uncanny and eerie. And maybe soon we will hear that the PM, DPM and the BN government will disappear. That I’m sure, not many will bother to get them back.

Oh yea, btw, Hospital Pusrawi was know as Pusat Rawatan Islam. That’s where the name Pusrawi came from. So I hope the hospital will live up to it’s Islamic principles and values and not cover up the truth.

What Order? Use First, Lah! Why Bother?

JOHOR BARU: At least four of Terengganu’s eight state executive council members are using newly purchased Mercedes-Benz E200 Kompressor cars despite a Cabinet directive against doing so.Several of them were seen travelling in the cars to official functions and meetings. Those who were seen taking rides in the car said they were waiting for Terengganu Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said to make an announcement at Wednesday’s state executive council meeting on when to give up the cars.

Terengganu Tourism, Culture, Arts and Heritage Committee chairman Datuk Za’abar Mohd Adib attended the Malaysian Flora Fest here yesterday in his gleaming new black Mercedes-Benz.

“I think the issue is overblown,” said Za’abar yesterday when met after the function.

Official use: Ahmad Razif leaving in his Mercedes after attending an event opened by the Deputy Prime Minister in Kuala Terengganu on Friday night.

When asked whether he knew about Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s announcement, he said he was aware of it and that Ahmad had already commented about it.

On Friday, Abdullah had announced that all the Mercedes-Benzes bought by the state for its executive council members could only be used for foreign dignitaries.

Za’abar also described the overall performance of the car bearing the licence plate number TAM 28, as “justified”. The car was parked at the Dataran Bandaraya Johor Baru parking area reserved for VIPs and some press members noticed it as they were leaving the function.

“Oh, you all are more interested in the car than in the floral fest,” he said in jest when approached by reporters.

When asked whether his action was going against Abdullah’s decision, Za’abar said: “That was not my intention.”

“I think the matter will be discussed at the next exco meeting,” he said.

He also said he first used the vehicle on Wednesday when he went to Kuala Lumpur to attend an executive council meeting.

“From Kuala Lumpur, I drove back to Terengganu because on Friday morning I had another meeting to attend and later that day, I drove to Johor Baru,” he said.

Datuk Za’abar’s car with registration number TAM 28 was seen at the VIP carpark as the executive council member attended the Malaysian Flora Fest parade in Johor Baru yesterday.

On Friday night, another executive council member, Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman, was seen leaving in his Mercedes after attending an event opened by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

In Kuala Terengganu, R.S.N. Murali reports that nine people have been questioned by the Anti-Corruption Agency over the high service costs of Proton Perdana V6 Executive cars owned by the state government incurred from 2004 to this year.

State ACA director Sharudin Sapian said those summoned to his office were civil servants and members of the public and several mechanics. (THE STAR)

Badawi, Oh Badawi! What happen lah! First PAS reject your offer to a joint-state government and now this! People are not listening to you anymore. Even your own fellow Umno members - excos are not paying attention to what you say. So can you blame the rakyat if we are not bothered by what you said? You seem to have lost it.

Those who were seen taking rides in the car said they were waiting for Terengganu Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said to make an announcement at Wednesday’s state executive council meeting on when to give up the cars.

The excos seem to defy your directive. They prefer to get the directive from the MB rather than from you. So in the meantime, enjoy while they can. Gaya mesti ada lah! And by the time the MB gives the directive, the cars will be in the workshop for maintenance and thousands of ringgit claimed. And maybe by the time the “guests and foreign dignitaries” get to ride in them, they will find the leather seats slashed and full of cigarette burns patched up with band-aid (That’s for not letting us use the Merc! - excos)

Za’abar also described the overall performance of the car bearing the licence plate number TAM 28, as “justified”.

Wow! Just “justified!” Not E for excellence! Maybe they should be given a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow, that would then be more than “justified” for them.

The Umno Amnesia Is Spreading

Mercedes Benz E200 Kompressor

Malaysiakini reports:

Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi today said Umno had offered to share power with PAS in Selangor after the general elections as it was within its right as the incumbent state government.Asked if PAS was also offered the position of Selangor menteri besar, Abdullah replied: “What are you talking about? (This has) nothing to do with what I’ve been talking about.”"Maybe at the early stages when it was undecided on who would form the government at that time because Umno had the highest number of seats in Selangor,” he added.Abdullah explained that Umno did not discuss the matter with Pakatan Rakyat as the latter was not a single entity.”Of course, in our case we represent the Barisan Nasional but for their parties, although they are the opposition there was nobody that had surfaced as a formally registered political party that has the three component parties, the way we have in BN.”So, at that time Umno felt that it has a right to seek the opportunity to form the government and to negotiate with any party to form the government,” he told reporters after the Academicians Award ceremony in Putrajaya.

Nothing wrong about it

The prime minister also said there was nothing wrong about the process as the state government had not been formed yet.

“Umno felt that as the party with the highest number of seats, it had the right to seek cooperation or alliance or coalition with any political party.

“If they (Umno and Pas) had enough seats, they would have been able to present the Sultan of Selangor with a proposal to form the next state government. But it never happened.”

However, Abdullah did not elaborate on whether this cooperation was extended to DAP or PKR, who together with PAS form Pakatan Rakyat.

Previously, Umno leaders said the talks were limited to the subject of Malay unity and Islamic matters and not political cooperation.

This is the first time that Abdullah, who is also Umno president, had admitted to the possibility of a political alliance with PAS on the subject of Selangor.

Former Selangor MB Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo was the first Umno politician to admit that the offer was made shortly after the March 8 polls.

Here is another lie. First, they said that the dialogue was about Malay unity and Islam issue. Now they admit that it was with a political agenda. How can we ever trust what they say! Just like DPM. First he said he had never met Saiful, but then after a few days he admitted that he met Saiful in his residence. I guess he must have amnesia at that time.

Of course there is nothing wrong when you do it. But let Pakatan Rakyat do it and hell will break lose. There is nothing wrong, it’s just like sleeping with the enemy. Or committing khawat. So desperate that they have to negotiate with PAS and the best part was that PAS rejected the proposal. Malu lah! Read the rest of this entry »

The World Has A Memory Of Only 100 Days

Horton

“How Long Is Our Memory? Do We have SMS (Short Memory Syndrome)?”

In Aug 31, 1983, the Russians shot down a Korean Airlines commercial flight that had veered off-course into Soviet airspace. All 269 souls on-board perished. The Russians refused to explain what really happened. When asked why, they replied that the world had a memory of only 100 days. Within 100 days, they said, something else would happen and everyone’s attention would be turned to the latest issue. And they were right!  (NECF)

Does this sound familiar? A lot of things have been happening in our nation. Each time an issue strikes, there is strong reaction. Then even in less than 100 days, our attention is shifted to another issue. Take for example, the whole nation was shocked when little Sharline was abducted.  There was a big manhunt for the abductor. The media write and televised about it. Photos of her were published everywhere. Bloggers help to publicize in hope that someone would have recognized her. There were loud out-crying from the public, demanding the police to solve the case.  And lo and behold, after 100 days, other issues popped out and the cry of Sharline faded away.  Honestly, how many of us still think about Sharline? Or whatever had happened to the case? What have the police been doing? Are they still on the case? Or is the case file on KIV?  Whatever happened to Sharline? How long is our memory?

And in the midst of so many issues and controversies, where do we begin? Lately,  the controversies  over the “sodomy allegation against Anwar,”  the “Statutory Declaration by RPK against Rosmah and two others,”  the controversial “Statutory Declaration by the Balasubramaniam against DPM,”  and many others have dominated the news.  So which is important and which is not. Where are we heading?

What about the Altantuya Shariibuu murder case? The Lingam video clips RCI? The March 8 GE’s promises?  The judicial, police, ACA reforms?  The no-confidence motion against the Premier by SAPP? Fuel price hike?  And not forgetting all the “corridors?” Etc, etc, etc…  Have we forgotten all about those issues? Have our mind been diverted to the more recent issues, or maybe to the “isu panas” of the day? Have we been sidetracked?

I believed the government has been working on this theory; “The world has a memory for only 100 days.”  So they will keep creating distractions or diversions to move our minds away from the controversial issues, knowing very well that in 100 days we will forget about it. The question again is, have we?

Horton had not forgotten!  Horton hears a Who.  Their world may just be a speck but Horton remembers them.  His memory doesn’t just last 100 days. He remembers names, places and what they do?  And as Horton says, “A person is a person, no matter how small.” And if Horton lives in Malaysia he would say, “An issue is an issue, no matter how small. I still remember it all!”

Karpal Singh - The Brave One

Karpal Singh

LET COPS DECIDE, SO SHUT UP PAK LAH!

Karpal Singh has warned Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and his ministers not to volunteer unsolicited comments that may compromise police investigations into PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim’s alleged sodomy offence. The DAP chairperson said in a statement today that he was shocked by Pak Lah’s challenge to Anwar to prove his innocence in this controversial allegation by giving his DNA sample. “It is elementary that under our system of law, it is not the PM who considers the result of an investigation but the police who are required to put up investigation papers to the Attorney-General.

“It is wrong for the PM to publicly challenge Anwar to disprove the allegation of sodomy against him.

“The PM should hold his piece and not publicly direct and influence police investigation,” he said.  Source Malaysiakini

Just because he is wheel-chair bound doesn’t mean he can be push-over. He may be physically handicapped but his principles are not. He will not be silent. He will speak the truth for justice without fear or prejudice. He did not recieve the name “The Tiger of Jelutong’ for nothing! Yes, he deserved to be in the elite company of The Brave One!

Roar Karpal Roar! The rakyat roars with you! The Eye of The Tiger is watching! “It’s the Eye of The Tiger, it’s the cream of the fight  Risin’ up to the challenge of our rival  And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night And he’s watchin’ us all in the eye of the tiger.”

Eye Of The Tiger

Risin’ up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I’m back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive

So many times, it happens too fast
You change your passion for glory
Don’t lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive

Chorus:
It’s the eye of the tiger, it’s the cream of the fight
Risin’ up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he’s watchin’ us all in the eye of the tiger

Face to face, out in the heat
Hangin’ tough, stayin’ hungry
They stack the odds ’til we take to the street
For we kill with the skill to survive

Risin’ up, straight to the top
Have the guts, got the glory
Went the distance, now I’m not gonna stop
Just a man and his will to survive

Dr Flip Flop - DNA Expert

Posted in AROUND THE BLOG, LIFE, MALAYSIA, NEWS, PICTURE TALK on July 19th, 2008

Abdullah Badawi

The authorities require a fresh DNA sample from Anwar Ibrahim because the sample extracted 10 years ago is too old, said Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi today.

“So we are asking for a new sample.”

I’m not a scientist but is there an expiry date for DNA? Is the DNA taken 10 years ago different from the DNA taken now? Now Badawi is a DNA expert, and who says he has been sleeping. In his free time he has been studying about DNA. That’s why he can come up with that statement. Hehe!!!

And read the statement agian. He used the term “we,” instead of the police; “So we are asking for a new sample.” Looks like he is and the whole bunch of Umno/BN goons are involved in it.

“If he is not guilty, why worry about giving a new DNA sample. If he is indeed innocent, there is nothing for him to fear.”

“If he has not done anything, than provide a sample. Do it. I want to see it. Let’s see the result which could prove that he did not do it.”

Who would not be fearful after spending 6 years behind bars on a thumped-up charges. Again if you read the statement it sounds like he is the one who demands for the DNA; “…provide the DNA. Do it. I want to see it.” So it is he would wants to see the DNA.

“There is no conspiracy or action to frame him for anything. The government is innocent in this matter.”

Yea, yea, like we would believe that the government is innocent and there was never any conspiracy or action to frame him.  I hope he can come up with a more original statement. A more convincing one.

“International perception is based on the past. And we can’t stop people from believing what they want to believe.”

“But the reality is, the government hasn’t done anything to frame him.”

Whose “reality?” I think he should wake up and smell the coffee. He has been living in dream world where everything in Malaysia is fine and we are secure. Maybe in BN’s reality the government hasn’t done anything, but the world sees it otherwise. You think the international community is so stupid as to just presume things? It’s not a perception! They have their own source of information. And knowing Malaysia, anything can be bought.

“When his wife (Wan Azizah Wan Ismail) came to me asking for a guarantee that Anwar wouldn’t end up with a black eye, I gave my assurance.”

“He will be safe and will be protected by the law as long as he obeys it. The authorities will also abide the law.”

Your assurance? Haha!!! You won’t even let Anwar go near the parliament house and furthermore you sent a group of balaclava-clad commandos in 15 vehicles to arrest a single 60 years old unarmed man. What good is your assurance!

And another ‘bodoh’ statement. Of course the authorities will have to abide the law! Even more. Or is it that they will sometimes not abide by the law? That’s what Anwar and the rakyat is afraid of. You have your own sets of law!
