Sleepless In Kuala Lumpur

Sleepless In Kuala Lumpur

Are we surprised? Oh no, I don’t think so. It was expected.

This is one of the hottest news that has ever hit Malaysia, but then the mainstream media just played it down. I looked up the NST and I couldn’t find anything about it at all. No mention at all. Like there was no such news or even if there was, it was not that important to publish! But then they write about; “Boy hold supreme in spelling contest,” “Batik-making suits Ramesh to a tee,” “Yuen proves she’s the next top model,” “When was Town Hall founded?” etc, etc. I guess those are more important news than the Statutory Declaration by RPK!

Now the Star reported it by not about the SD, but about calling up RPK to investigate him about the allegations! This is real crap! Go and investigate the three persons named in the SD. Why investigate RPK?  Unless and until you could not find any truth about the so called ‘allegations’ in the SD, then you get RPK and investigate him? Again instead of getting the culpits, you go for the whistle-blower!

All RPK is trying to do is to fight against injustice. To bring out the truth. And you guys are preventing justice to take its course! What a bunch of morons!

And who is that “prominent woman?” You mean as a national press you don’t know the name of that “prominent woman” when the whole nation, in fact the whole world knows who she is! Even in the marketplace, old ladies who have no access of internet news, know who that ‘prominent woman’ is. So why hide it?  As the saying goes,”you can fool somebody sometimes, but you can’t fool everybody every time. lah!”  Oh I forgot, you are a government-controlled media. You only publish what you want the public to read. Well, let me tell you the good news! We don’t need to read from you lah. We have our independent, alternative, accurate and fair news which is normally neglected or censored by MSM.

Just in case you don’t have the SD, I include it here from Malaysiakini: The Statutory Declaration by RPK

And apart from the MSM, we have not heard a single word from either Najib or Rosmah. RPK had just dropped a bombshell, and it involves the wife of the Deputy Premier and yet all is silent at Putrajaya. Can you imagine what the MSM will do, if the SD involves wives from the opposition MPs? HEADLINES ON THE FRONT PAGE!!!

Well, I guess this Statutory Declaration must have made many people having sleepless nights in KL! Sleepless In Kuala Lumpur!

Cops to probe RPK’s claims by Lourdes Charles - The Star

KUALA LUMPUR: Police will be calling up Malaysia Today editor Raja Petra Kamaruddin to investigate allegations in his recent statutory declaration on purported facts related to the murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan said the three individuals named in the document filed on June 18 would also be called up.

In the declaration, Raja Petra claimed that the trio – one of them a prominent woman – were present at the scene during the murder of the Mongolian translator in October 2006.

Copies of the two-paged declaration together with the identity of the trio have been posted on various blog sites.

In the document, Raja Petra said he was “reliably informed” of these allegations.

Musa said the matter could be sub judice as the Altantuya murder case was still being heard.

He also said Raja Petra must be “brave enough to face the consequences if he is bold enough” to make the allegations.

Meanwhile, the Attorney-General’s Chambers has lodged a police report against Raja Petra over the statutory declaration.

Attorney-General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail said the allegations were “highly defamatory” and if found untrue, those making the allegations would have to face the consequences.

“We want to investigate because we want the truth. As far as I am concerned, we have to look at it seriously.”

“If it’s true, we will act accordingly. If not, the writer will be investigated,” he said, adding that the report was lodged in Putrajaya on Saturday.

Raja Petra said he expected to be called up.

He said he was bold enough to face the consequences.
