Samy The Bodek Philosopher

Samy Vellu

In Ipoh, MIC Samy Vellu described Hishammuddin’s open apology to all Malaysians if the keris issue had nudged their sentiments, as gentlemanly and befitting a good young leader.

It was also in line with the principle put forward by famous author Dale Carnegie in one of his well-known books, “How to Win Friends and Influence People”, he said.

“He is a gentleman, a good young leader. He follows the principle of Dane Carnegie who said that ‘if you are wrong, admit it quickly and emphatically’ but I must say Datuk Seri Hishammuddin is an effective and very good leader.

“Without him, I don’t think today we would have built 41 Tamil schools in one go. This was the money that he gave when I was Minister for Works,” he told reporters.

Samy Vellu said all parties should now respect the appeal for apology and not to raise the issue again.

“When somebody say I am sorry we should just keep quiet after that, we should not talk anything further. If we talk further, we don’t respect the apology,” he said.  Malaysiakini

My oh my! Look who is talking and giving advice. Listen to the statements he said about Hishammuddin:

“He is a gentleman, a good young leader. He follows the principle of Dane Carnegie who said that ‘if you are wrong, admit it quickly and emphatically’ but I must say Datuk Seri Hishammuddin is an effective and very good leader.

“Without him, I don’t think today we would have built 41 Tamil schools in one go. This was the money that he gave when I was Minister for Works,” he told reporters.

Can you believe this guy? He is saying, “if you’re wrong admit it quickly and emphatically - that’s an effective and good leader. Sorry not only good, ‘very good leader.’ My question is this: If you can say this about others, why didn’t you do it yourself? Why didn’t you admit your wrongs emphatically to prove you are an effective and ‘very good leader?’ What do you have to blame the government, BN, the demolition of temples, etc for MIC poor showing? You could have just admit your wrongs as Hishammuddin did - and that would make you an effective and ‘very good leader.’

I got it! Are you saying you did nothing wrong thats why you did not admit or say sorry? You must be the perfect effective good leader. But I can’t understand why an effective good leader was kicked out of Sungai Siput? Help me understand. Oops I forgot again! It was the Umno/BN’s faults.

And now you can ‘bodek’ again; “Without him, I don’t think today we would have built 41 Tamil schools in one go. This was the money that he gave when I was Minister for Works,”  Now you are saying that the government did pay attention and help the Indians. But I thought you said the government neglected the Indian community and now you ‘bodek.’ So can you make up your mind - which is which?

You are a real joke to the Indian community. The Indians rejected you and yet you said you were not the reason for the loses. You have been blamed for the downfall of MIC and were asked to step down - yet you have never admitted to that and not say sorry about it. And now you talking about what others did was the right thing!

“When somebody say I am sorry we should just keep quiet after that, we should not talk anything further. If we talk further, we don’t respect the apology,” you said. You know why people did not keep quiet about you? Because you have not said sorry or felt sorry at all. That’s why people keep talking about you. There was never an apology from you. All you did was blame others. I think it is best if you just KEEP QUIET AND DON’T TALK ANY FURTHER!

Oh and lastly you even quoted from a book by Dale Carnegie “How to Win Friends and Influence People.” Well you certainly did not win many friends in Sungai Siput. And definitely you did not influence them to vote for you! Haha!!! What a jerk! Anyway, my last say; I bet you will say you are sorry and apology one day when your BN/Umno boss asked you to do so! We will wait for that day and laugh our heads off - hehe!!!
