What Do You See?
Who do you see God as?
Do you see God as a Distant Deity, who is out of your reach?
Or do you see God as a Gentle Grandparent, who pampers you and let you have your way?
Or a Strict Schoolteacher who makes sure you does everything right and in order?
Or do you see God as a Punishing Policeman who chastised you every time you do wrong?
Or a Generous Genie who would just gives you anything you ask?
Or God as a Faceless Force, who just come and go as he likes.
Or is God a Callous Creator who just leave us here on this earth to fend for ourselves.
Or do you see God as The Loving Father, who is always there for us to love us and care for us. Â A Father who lovingly disciplined us to teach us, not to punish us when we do wrong. A Father who is loving, caring, forgiving, and always sees to our needs. What you conceived God to be - will determine who God is to you and your relationship with Him. Â Well…
I SEE LOVEÂ
Some see a teacher standing on a hill
Speaking words of wisdom
Some see a healer reaching out his hand
To give sight to a blind man
Some see a dreamer wasting his life
On what can never be
Some see a fool, dying for his dreams
But I see love, I see love
Light of heaven breaking through
Well I see grace , I see God’s face
Shining pure and perfect love
When I see you, I see love
Some see a prisoner alone before his judge
With no one to defend him
Some see a victim, beaten and abused
With all the world against him
Some see a martyr, carrying his cross
For what he believes
Some see a hero, who set his people free
With your last breath, I see love
Through your death, I see love
I see peace in the eyes of the king
I see hope in your suffering
I see a calm in the center of the storm
I see a Saviour
Some see Him walking from an empty grave
