Travelling
Travelling has been my greatest passion since Ileft school. When I was 18 years old I have travelled from Malaysia by ship to India and overland Europe. It took me like almost 8 months, by trains, buses and local transport to make the journey from India to Munich, Germany. Back then, thats 1971, I only had RM700 and took the challenge with a friend to travel to Europe. After living for two years in Germany, I made an overland journey back to India, then by ship to Malaysia. After 3 years in Malaysia, I decided to make another journey overland to Europe again. This time i took my younger brother, David with me. We took about 6 months to get to Paris, France.
The Journey: By ship from Penang, Malaysia to Chennai, India. Trains and buses and local transport from India - Pakistan - Afghanistan - Iran - Turkey - Greece - Bulgaria - Former Yugoslavia - Austria - Switzerland - Germany - France.
I have dreams of doing another journey to either China, Mongolia, Central Asia and the Himalayas in the near future if God is willing.
